How will you make an impact in this role?

Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model across Amex Offers, Advertising, Dining and Marketing Technology.

The Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) team is a global organization that sits within Membership Portfolio Services (MPS). It is American Express’ marketing services center of excellence with the charter of powering high quality, efficient, user-centric digital marketing experiences that accelerate business growth through optimized enterprise MarTech & MarOps solutions.

You will be joining ECMX’s MarTech organization, focused on providing frictionless, flexible, and flawless marketing and servicing experiences.

Reporting to the Vice President, US Digital Marketing Product, this new role will be responsible for leading the roadmap and delivery of marketing technology capabilities supporting American Express banking products.

This role will drive the end-to-end marketing technology capabilities unlock for banking marketing, ensuring compliant, scalable, and customer-centric activation across channels.

This leader will partner closely with Banking Product, Banking Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Enterprise Platform teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into durable product capabilities that enable growth while maintaining trust and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for banking marketing technology capabilities on Adobe Suite
  • Lead a team of product managers responsible for banking-specific marketing journeys, activation patterns, and enablement
  • Translate complex regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements into scalable product solutions
  • Drive alignment across Marketing, Banking, Risk, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders
  • Ensure banking needs are represented and prioritized appropriately within shared marketing platforms and data products
  • Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform sustainability and reuse
  • Define and track success metrics related to adoption, efficiency, compliance, and business impact
  • Champion strong product management practices, including discovery, prioritization, and outcome-based planning

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, including experience leading product teams
  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale technology products in regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology, customer activation, and data-driven marketing. Experience with Adobe suite (AEP/AJO/AEM/CJA) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence without direct authority
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering, architecture, risk, and compliance teams
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting banking, financial services, or other highly regulated product domains
  • Familiarity with modern Martech ecosystems (campaign management, CDPs, decisioning, orchestration)
  • Experience building reusable platforms or shared capabilities
  • Demonstrated success leading teams through transformation or modernization initiatives
  • Operates with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Brings clarity and structure to ambiguous problem spaces
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in balancing risk, speed, and customer outcomes
  • Models inclusive leadership and develops high-performing product talent

Salary Range: $144,250.00 to $256,250.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
