The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The Director of Rewards Checking Product Management will lead the team focusing on our Amex Rewards Checking product strategy and continuing the growth of our Rewards Checking portfolio.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Oversee the Rewards Checking product P&L and deposits portfolio, including identifying opportunities to drive efficiency and growth.
- Articulate and evolve the Rewards Checking product value proposition and roadmap strategy for features, benefits, and experiences, inclusive of x-product integration opportunities
- Identify requirements for and work closely with Product Development, Fraud Risk, Servicing, Marketing and other teams on design and delivery of select product features.
- Define and maintain product terms and disclosures.
- Contribute to and glean insights from customer research agenda. Monitor industry trends and updates to competitor value propositions and product offerings.
- Lead a dynamic and high-performing team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong financial acumen and general management mindset to understand drivers of product P&L and key product metrics.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work with colleagues across different functions and at all levels.
- Strategic thought leadership with strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and comfort setting vision and making decisions based on business needs.
- Action-orientation with track record of collaborating to drive results.
- Proven project management skills with ability to prioritize and lead multiple initiatives.
- Intellectual curiosity to go deep to truly understand customer needs and competitive trends, think creatively, challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
- Enthusiastic people leadership with proven ability to develop, engage and empower colleagues and build a highly effective, inclusive culture.

- Consumer Deposit product management experience
Salary Range: $145,000.00 to $230,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
