Position Overview
In this role, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle for new and existing products, from discovery, product planning, development to execution. You’ll be responsible for a nimble team who are responsible for our crew portal/user profile, project onboarding, project document exchange and employee onboarding within our suite and growing platform.

The Director, Product Management will be responsible for both new product ideation and existing product strategy, you must be creative and visionary, able to innovate and simplify product offerings to provide a positive, seamless experience for our customers. As our clients include Studios, Networks, Film & TV companies, Brands, Ad Agencies, Live Event Organizers as well as their end users, you must be able to envision the unique and complex intersection of the distinct audiences who use our products, and guide product strategy to serve each equally.

As we are a lean team in a growing organization, you must covet the opportunity to be a hands’ on individual contributor in a senior leadership role. This position will also provide mentorship, guidance, and training to other members of the product team, and work cross-functionally to drive the strategic direction of our product suite and influence product growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing product lifecycles, understanding customer needs, and driving product success.Core Responsibilities•Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with the company's strategic goals•Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, and retirement; lead large-scale, cross-functional product initiatives including related system integrations•Prioritize and manage an agile backlog of product enhancements and be able to adapt quickly to a demanding and constantly changing environment•Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring products meet and exceed customer needs•Lead cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to deliver high-quality products to market on time•Stay on top of market trends, competitor products, and potential opportunities/threats to ensure our products remain competitive•Leverage analytics, usability studies, and market research to drive product direction and define an effective roadmap•Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to external partnersKey Qualifications•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field•Enterprise SaaS Product Management (minimum 5+ years) experience with a proven track record of successful launches•Proven experience launching a new product or moving a successful product into a new category or region in an agile environment•Strong execution-focus and ability to create an actionable plan amongst a certain degree of ambiguity•Deep understanding of how to interact with GTM and customer teams•Strategic and visionary; able to see the story and tie it together in a logical way•Strong leadership and communication skills that empower you to collaborate with and influence teams at all levels•Exceptionally strong process that you can articulate clearly, thoroughly, and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences•Methodical approach to set and execute a detailed, realistic, and congruent product roadmap•Adept at using qualitative and quantitative research methods and methodologies, including market landscaping and competitor analysis, to support product decisions•Excellent stakeholder management skills, including driving consensus and alignment•Ability to forge strong working relationships with design, development, and stakeholders•Advanced working knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle with the ability to proactively suggest process improvements that drive efficiency and quality•Ability to translate technical concepts for a business audience•Technical familiarity and/or ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of asset management principles such as data indexing, OCR, platform integrations, and cloud storage across variety of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS)•Advanced written and verbal communication skills that can be tailored to suit a variety of individual personalities and levels of seniorityPreferred Qualifications •Prior experience in payroll, compliance, HR, accounting, and/or entertainment industry highly preferred•Proficiency with Pendo or similar adoption metrics tracking systemSpecial Work Conditions•Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. The compensation range for this position is: $170,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year.
