The Role
Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations, Digital Assets Product Lead will be the product owner handling the backlog, roadmap and epics refinement for all work that needs to be done in FFIO to support launch of new digital asset funds in the marketplace. This position will drive the roadmap to provide support for multiple product areas and platform consumers. The role will cross Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations and Fidelity Digital Assets® to understand requirements, envision the product offering, work with technology and operations to prioritize the work, and take lead to optimally resolve dependencies.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Deep knowledge of the crypto and digital assets domain.
- Experience using blockchain in a technology or fund operations role.
- Track record of partnership with technology teams, operations and investment professionals. Ability to lead at scale through indirect rather than direct authority; ability to influence thinking of both business and engineers to gain alignment in complex, domain-specific undertakings.
- Highly analytical with the ability to quickly comprehend complex data, technical, and risk challenges, to ask the right questions and to guide teams.
- Experience delivering large, complex projects on time and at quality, in partnership with teams outside your direct control and with excellent transparency to partners. Track record with technical planning processes from Jira to project plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technologists, operations, and senior leadership. Ability to set a vision and align an organization behind it.
The Team
FFIO Digital Assets Product Area is at the center of all transformation happening in FFIO to enable Fidelity to launch new digital assets offering in the marketplace. We work with all other product areas and provide subject matter expertise on Digital Assets domain. We represent FFIO on everything Digital Assets. We make sure that FFIO does not have to incur manual debt as we launch newer products in the market.
The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
