
Director of Product Management - Fidelity Private Shares

We are seeking a product manager to join the growing product team for Fidelity’s private company equity management platform, Fidelity Private Shares, within Fidelity Labs. Our team delivers innovative technology, robust industry experience and expertise, and seamless service to our customers.
As aProduct Manager focused on building private company liquidity solutions, you’ll apply your expertise to creating a product that will change how startups, lawyers, and investors think about managing company ownership.
You’ll be responsible for a range of Product Management activities, including:
Synthesize product feedback, market trends, and research into clear product requirements
Research regulations, best practices, and other subject matter to inform product requirements and definition
Define features and create product specification documentation
Consult with technical team to assess feasibility, clarify use cases, and guide development of features and enhancements
Draft or review product content for accuracy and comprehension
Conduct product acceptance testing and validation
Communicate release information to sales, marketing & support teams
The Expertise We’re Looking for and the Skills You Bring
Background in equity management, corporate law, venture capital, accounting, or related field
Strong knowledge of private market infrastructure, including venture capital, secondary trading, alternative investments and liquidity solutions
Familiarity with startup and private company ecosystem
5+ years of work experience within financial services, fintech or capital markets
Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent practical experience)
Strong communication and ability to make complex concepts accessible
Motivation to work collaboratively to drive product initiatives from idea to market
Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
High degree of self-motivation and natural curiosity to learn new things

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-222,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
