The Role

As a Platform Product Manager/Trading Consultant, you blend extensive Product & Project management experience with deep trading lifecycle expertise for individual securities and Fund products with a passion for creative problem solving. Applying knowledge of the full range of Fidelity IWMS trading integration capabilities, institutional client offerings, and execution services, you will be the Product lead for various offerings and provide trading workflow consulting and solution engineering to help clients and prospects identify and achieve the most efficient outcomes for their business. Visual thinkers with strong organizational skills are likely to thrive in this role.

You’ll bring – or quickly develop – expertise in the operational and regulatory considerations applicable to broker dealers and Investment Advisers trading through and away from their clearing broker/custodian. You will cultivate a strong internal network to draw in experts as needed in service of client objectives.

In this role you will meet, engage, and present to prospective and existing clients. Additionally, you’ll interact regularly with other teams in the Fidelity IWMS brokerage businesses, sales and relationship managers, and internal and external partners.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent with demonstrated ability at a financial services firm or service provider to the industry. Would typically expect +/- 10 years of experience. Brokerage experience required.
  • Solid understanding of the registered investment advisor and/or broker-dealer marketplace.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with securities transaction workflows from order entry through to clearance and settlement.
  • In depth knowledge of various security types: equities, fixed income, options, mutual funds, structured products, etc.
  • Experience engaging clients in onsite and offsite environments; comfortable and confident with senior level audiences.
  • Adept in discovery conversations and navigating through ambiguity to identify underlying client business challenges.
  • Skilled in balancing priorities of simultaneous projects, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strength in analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to Senior Mgmt and C-Suite clientele.
  • SIE & Series 7 licensing required within 90 days of hire.

The Team

As part of Fidelity IWMS, the Trading Solutions group develops and supports key offerings for our Clearing and Custody clients. As a member of the product team, you will contribute by applying your skills to deliver high quality solutions that benefit our clients and help them service their unique needs. You will play a substantial role in identifying key requirements, benefits, and end goals for our products. You will collaborate across the organization to produce solutions that are effective and line up with the firm’s strategic goals.

Note: This req is not considering candidates that require sponsorship.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$185,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
