The Role

Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM) is seeking an associate to join the Product Strategy and Management Team within Order Flow Management. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and driving core and common capabilities that scale and align to the equity groups’ multiple channels, ensuring robust governance, prioritization, and delivery. In addition, you will help define and deliver on the team’s offering and solution development, help manage Equity’s engagements and collaboration across its various functions, and work with business partners in Technology, Finance, Regulatory Reporting and others to execute on FCM and Equity Team initiatives. As a critical part of agile product development, you will work closely with internal channel business partners, data scientists, technologists, and operations staff to continuously refine our offering, solutions, and broader processes.

  • Improve core and common capabilities that can be leveraged by various business lines and FCM desks
  • Drive efficient product prioritization and delivery to benefit Fidelity customers
  • Communicate progress, risks, and countermeasures effectively within the team and more broadly to key team members

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong analytical problem-solving background
  • Agile product management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of equity financial markets and trading processes preferred
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months of hire
  • Standout colleague with a positive attitude and an interest in driving core and common capabilities that scale and align to the equity groups’ multiple channels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to understand the technical and operational components and workflows associated with FCM’s equity trading products
  • Ability to liaise with multiple departments (legal, risk, compliance, operations, technology, business partners) to build solutions for our customers
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to build and cultivate external relationships with trading partners
  • Proven ability to communicate and demonstrate the value of workflow decisions to business and technology partners through both quantitative and qualitative rationale
  • Self-starter who accepts pace over perfection and enjoys working in a fast-paced, demanding environment

The Team

The Order Flow Management team (OFM) is responsible for the routing and execution quality of equity and options orders for Fidelity’s retail customers.

Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-222,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
