Job Description:

This role provides you with the opportunity to join a SaaS/cloud-first, innovative, fast-paced technology team within Asset Management Technology, responsible for Business and System analysis of applications supporting the Hight income and Alternatives technology team. Your focus will be to continuously develop enhance and maintain Sales and Relationship Management functionalities in our CRM Salesforce platform, redefining the sales, servicing & client experience.

The Team

The High Income and Alternatives Technology team manages and develops technology platform that supports our high yield investment team with over $100B of client assets in US high yield debt, emerging market debt and a growing list of high yield alternative credit products. We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Salesforce Engineering Director / Team Lead to lead our Salesforce development team. This role is responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business goals. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with deep Salesforce expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

· Leadership & Strategy- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers and administrators.

· Define and execute the Salesforce engineering roadmap in alignment with business priorities.

· Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

· Technical Oversight

· Architect and oversee the implementation of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.

· Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices in development, security, and performance.

· Collaborate with enterprise architects and integration teams to ensure cohesive system design.

· Agile & Collaboration

· Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with various Product, Engineering, and Customer facing teams to deliver impactful solutions.

· Contribute to and review user stories, system stories, and supporting documentation.

· Project & Stakeholder Management

· Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team capacity.

· Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

· Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

· Data & Process Analysis

· Perform data analysis using SQL (Oracle) and Excel to support decision-making and solution design.

· Diagram business processes and system workflows to support solution architecture and stakeholder understanding.

· Research, document, and review existing systems and recommend enhancements for self-contained projects within larger programs.

· Governance & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

· Maintain system documentation and enforce change management protocols.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.

· 3+ years in a leadership or management role.

· Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect) strongly preferred.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate systems and recommend improvements.

· Proficiency in writing user and system stories and related documentation.

· Experience with SQL (Oracle) and Excel for data analysis.

· Ability to diagram and communicate business processes and system workflows.
