Do you enjoy partnering with clients to solve complex and meaningful challenges? Are you a benefits industry expert who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Join our Data Consulting team, where you will deliver high‑quality, tailored solutions that help clients optimize the administration of their benefit

The Role

This role operates in a dual capacity, serving both as a Product Lead and a Senior Data Consultant, with a strong emphasis on client engagement, business development, data strategy, and solution development.

In the Senior Data Consultant capacity, you will play a critical role in uncovering client needs, shaping consulting opportunities, and developing tailored data and administration solutions. You will contribute to scope development, pricing, and statements of work, ensuring solutions are aligned to client objectives and Fidelity standards. Collaboration with the Consultant and cross‑functional internal partners is essential to assess complex data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations that deepen client relationships.

You will also be accountable for the end‑to‑end program management of client engagements, ensuring deliverables are executed with excellence in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Maintaining strong communication, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction are core to success in this role.

As the Product Lead, you will drive the strategy and evolution of a specialized service focused on custom dashboard reporting and data-driven insights. You will define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, and partner across Fidelity to strengthen client outcomes. You will also support proactive business development by identifying opportunities to expand dashboard usage, enhance the client experience, and communicate the value of data‑centric solutions.

  • Deepening client relationships by consistently delivering high‑quality solutions and an exceptional client experience.

  • Leading the dashboard reporting, analytics, and insights offering—shaping the product vision, prioritizing enhancements, and ensuring clients gain actionable, meaningful insights.

  • Creating and delivering compelling proposals that clearly articulate value, differentiation, and support successful contract approval.

  • Ensuring project teams develop realistic, well‑structured project plans, including clear scope, timelines, and effort estimates.

  • Providing consistent program oversight, ensuring alignment with strategy, milestones, and budget expectations.

  • Identifying risks early and guiding teams toward effective, pragmatic resolutions.

  • Applying deep understanding of client needs, administrative processes, system design, and data usage to develop tailored solutions that drive strong client outcomes.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in benefits consulting, client management, or benefits administration within corporate benefits, outsourcing, or consulting environments.

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience, leading complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives with structure, discipline, and execution.

  • 3+ years of business development experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead the full lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution.

  • Broad understanding of benefit plan administration, data flows, and recordkeeping processes; familiarity with Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Stock Plan Services, HSAs, Health & Welfare, and payroll/HRIS systems is preferred.

  • Ability to operate as a consultative partner, applying structured analysis and providing clear, actionable recommendations to guide client decision‑making.

  • Experience serving as a product lead, including defining requirements, aligning stakeholders, and partnering with technical teams to deliver reporting and analytics solutions.

  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted partnerships with clients and internal teams.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and deliver meaningful insights and recommendations.
