Job Description:
As a Director, Software Engineering, you will blend engineering knowledge and experience with a passion for coaching and mentoring to deliver scalable and high performing solutions with a cloud-first mindset. You will be responsible for the managing engineering associates and delivery and technical ownership of a portfolio of applications assigned to the Orchestration and Salesforce engineering teams.
The Role
Our goal at FDA’s Orchestration team is to design and build a suite of capabilities supporting Legal, regulatory and compliance needs. Our goal at Salesforce team is to build customized capabilities in for our business stakeholders in Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for the managing engineering associates and delivery and technical ownership of a portfolio of applications assigned to the Orchestration and salesforce teams. You will work very closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high quality, reliable, cloud-based technology solutions to meet our business needs.
The Skills You Bring
10+ Years of software application design & development experience, or Masters with 8+ years of experience
5+ years Experience leading multiple engineering teams as a people leader.
Extensive technical experience in Java Spring Boot, RESTful Services, AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes.
Prior Engineering experience in Salesforce platform is desired.
Passionate about good API practices, structured design, clean code, microservices
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent and you want to learn more
Experience with Agile methodologies
