The Role

Strategic Advisers, LLC (SAI) is searching for a high-impact Director to join our Strategy, Planning and Enablement team. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be a key driver in shaping SAI’s future plans by acting as a vital thought partner to senior executives. This role offers a unique variety of responsibilities, from driving strategic priorities and planning processes to working alongside the senior team to solve complex business challenges. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives on both high-level strategy and hands-on execution and is eager to make a significant impact on our business.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5 plus years investment industry, strategy and planning, or consulting experience combined with a Bachelors Degree

  • Proven track record leading cross-organizational business strategy and partnering with multiple teams

  • Ability to thrive in constantly evolving, complex, and collaborative environment

  • Ability to build positive relationships and influence across all levels of SAI and with business partners outside of SAI

  • Strong analytical skills and capabilities, including ability to structure problems, develop frameworks, and drive analytics in pursuit of insights and recommendations

  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong intellectual curiosity

  • Knowledge of asset management, wealth management, or managed accounts business is a plus

  • Strategic Leadership: You will play a meaningful role in developing, communicating, and driving Strategic Advisers’ business strategy in partnership with the senior leadership team

  • Planning and Prioritization: You will help drive the multi-year planning and prioritization processes for our organization, ensuring we are focused on the most critical initiatives

  • Business Analysis: You will partner with leaders across Strategic Advisers to evaluate a wide range of business opportunities and challenges, formulating strategies to address them

The Team

The Strategy, Planning, and Enablement team is an integral part of Strategic Advisers. We are tasked with the critical responsibility of shaping and driving the overall business strategy. Our team is collaborative and eager to learn, working closely with SAI leaders to define our future and ensure our continued success.

Strategic Advisers, LLC (SAI) is a registered investment advisor and wholly owned subsidiary of FMR LLC that provides investment management services to clients through Fidelity’s retail and institutional distribution channels. For more than 35 years, SAI has specialized in the design, construction and management of asset allocation solutions, as well as the methodologies for many of Fidelity’s investment planning tools, to help investors reach their financial goals. With over to $1 trillion in assets under management in a blend of Fidelity and third-party investment vehicles, the SAI team of investment professionals constructs and manages asset allocation portfolios for more than 3.5 million customer accounts.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
