Job Description:

This role will assist the R4 Team Lead in managing all TLM items and support the Engineering Leads in delivering the execution. They will be responsible for organizing TLM items by category, due date, etc., and routinely meet with the Engineering Leads to assess the statuses, give feedback, and answer any questions that arise. They will also be available to support production installs and help remediate any issues that arise. Additionally, they will partner with the Engineer teams in adhering to best practices and perform standardized checks post-install which mitigates the risk of production issues from occurring.

Will be the R4 point person in providing production support for distributed applications. They will be responsible for addressing such issues in a prompt manner by meeting with our Engineering counterparts in a collaborative manner to work toward a resolution.

Responsible for assisting the existing R4 distributed developers in processing daily work, that includes, but is not limited to: Rehydrations, OPA changes, EOL software updates, server upgrades, Github Security Violations, creation and monitoring of DataDog logs, Disaster Recovery Testing, B2B Certificate Renewals, Venafi API Authorization Changes, and Jira story resolutions.

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Equivalent

  • Expertise in designing complex network of microservices which can handle high TPS traffic with low latency

  • Expert level in development experience in Java, Spring Boot and relevant frameworks. Proficient in design, development, and consumption of RESTful APIs

  • Experience working with Docker containers, Kubernetes and its optimization and orchestration of workloads/pods is highly preferable

  • Involvement with CI/CD Pipeline, building robust Cloud ready scalable APIs and background processes

  • Highly proficient in AWS Native services, especially EKS, RDS is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of streaming and messaging platforms (Kafka)

  • Unit testing Frameworks and Automation

  • Full understanding of SDLC including analysis, design, coding, system/user testing, problem resolution and maintenance

  • Knowledge of SQL (Oracle or other RDBMS).

  • Full exposure to DevOps, Agile and Scrum

  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt and strive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both through written and verbal channels.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
