Summary of Position

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for the Director, Theatrical Finance & Administration in the Domestic Theatrical Distribution department. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Theatrical Finance & Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Managing exhibitor accounts for a sales division (Includes weekly sales meetings, maintaining credit ratings, managing account holds for theatrical releases)
  • Accounts receivable (Invoicing exhibitors, applying payments, reconciling accounts)
  • Managing audits, processing custom report queries, and month-end reporting (Can occur on weekends and after business hours), and overseeing the daily lockbox balancing process with the accounting department
  • Database queries and ad hoc reports
  • Database administration and exhibitor account set up (Includes generating and processing license agreements)
  • Software application support (testing and implementation of application upgrades, database validation and general application support for department users)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Highly motivated and resourceful, with strong accounting, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • C.P.A, or a minimum of 2-5 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience
  • A strong understanding of databases, interfaces and applications is a must, with prior experience in application testing and documentation preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel experience is required

Compensation

$120,000 - $135,000
