Job Title: Director, Vendor Management
The Role
The Director of Enterprise Vendor Management is an individual contributor role within Fidelity’s Enterprise Vendor Management organization, which drives vendor intelligence, performance, value, and risk management across a portfolio of enterprise-level and strategic suppliers. This role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of Fidelity vendors and ensuring adherence to the Vendor Management Oversight Policy and enterprise vendor management standards.
In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of each vendor’s products and services across Fidelity, assess and monitor vendor-related risks, evaluate performance against contractual commitments, and create vendor scorecards to drive transparency and accountability. You will partner closely with business units to develop and execute vendor strategies aligned to enterprise priorities, strengthening decision-making across the vendor landscape through a holistic view of vendor relationships and elevating the strategic influence of the vendor management center of excellence.
You will provide executives and senior leaders with a comprehensive view of vendor relationships, including strategic alignment, spend governance, risk and resilience, and overall vendor health. The role involves interpreting internal and external vendor trends, analyzing vendor data and metrics to inform strategic decisions, and influencing outcomes through effective engagement with stakeholders across Fidelity. You will also collaborate with key partners such as procurement, vendor risk, enterprise cybersecurity, credit risk, and enterprise relationship management, while contributing to the ongoing development of vendor management tools, data, and best practices used across the firm.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
10+ years of experience in a mid- to large-sized organization, with at least 5 years of experience in procurement and/or vendor management; financial services industry experience is a plus
Hands-on experience managing vendors with complex products, services, and use case
Analyze vendor data, financials, and performance metrics to generate insights that support strategic decision‑making and align with enterprise priorities.
Leverage quantitative analysis and data-driven evaluation to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities across vendor partnerships.
Strong data-driven and fact-based problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and credibility with internal stakeholders and business partners
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering accurate and timely results
Comfort operating in environments with ambiguity, combined with a results-driven mindset and the ability to encourage fresh perspectives and breakthrough ideas
Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, navigate complex or difficult situations, and remain steadfast while building productive partnerships

The Enterprise Vendor Management team serves as a center of excellence focused on strengthening Fidelity’s vendor relationships through intelligence, performance management, and risk oversight. The team partners closely with business units and enterprise functions to ensure vendors deliver value aligned with Fidelity’s strategic objectives.
Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends onsite and offsite experiences to support both business needs and associate flexibility. Most hybrid roles require working onsite every other week in a Fidelity office, with the remaining time spent working remotely. This model fosters collaboration, innovation, and connection while allowing for flexibility where it adds the most value.
