The Role

We are seeking someone who enjoys working with internal and external teams to deliver outstanding Lending products! The associate will focus in the Specialty Savings & Lending Product Area within the Lending Squad, part of the Business Enablement Chapter. This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities of the job will include the following:

  • Focus on improving the customer experience, expanding lending capabilities and vendor relationships, and innovating new experiences related to securities-backed and mortgage lending solutions.

  • Active participation in defining requirements, understanding business & technology needs, and writing Agile stories to help advance the infrastructure and assist with system & process improvements

  • Participating in and leading readiness and rollout activities related to production releases

  • Performing business testing focused on new functionality, operational processes, and end user experience

  • Implementing, measuring, and utilizing metrics & data to aid in identifying enhancement and improvement opportunities

  • Participating in the prioritization of the squad work (in partnership with Squad Leader & Scrum Master) to deliver value based on an understanding of business and system needs

  • Helping to conduct key research and analysis to prioritize squad work

  • Production Support of active lending customers, including monitoring existing product health dashboards and responding to ad hoc client and associate requests

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 6-10 years professional experience and possesses good understanding of Fidelity’s product/services and operational processes. Experience with bank lending solutions is a plus

  • Familiarity with Agile process & tools & proven ability to translate business strategy into technical requirements

  • Strong technical background with the ability to actively participate in detailed discussions and work through solution options with technology partners

  • While the focus of this role is on delivery of experience improvements – this individual should possess the ability to think of the broader impact of changes and downstream work

  • Embrace working within a team of associates with diverse skill sets, including working directly with a Development Team, Operations Team, Distribution Team, 3rd Parties, Legal Team, and other business partners

  • Business insight, technical insight, and analytical abilities that allows you to make decisions and define work based on data and trends

  • Has a strong affinity for business and systems analysis, data analysis, and system & process improvement work throughout the product development lifecycle

  • Synthesizing requirements and business needs into full Agile stories

  • Proven experience in product management, project management, analysis, and process improvement

  • Possesses the ability to work & act independently, balance competing priorities, influence others, manage stakeholders, and maintain a positive can-do demeanor

  • Strong collaboration, communications, organization, and presentation abilities

  • Possesses strong skills in JIRA, Miro, PowerPoint, and Excel
