
Directors, Data Governance and Management
American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Directors, Data Governance and Management to oversee and monitor databases and execute processes to bring data under governance. Partner with internal teams to customize the Enterprise Data Governance Management and Sharing program to the needs of the business. Lead and advance data governance principles, policies, and programs for stewardship, advocacy, and custodianship of data. Define frameworks, operating model, and organizational change considerations for data governance and management in support of new and existing data capabilities.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with leveraging analytics and data science tools and techniques to analyze and solve business problems and drive business results. Experience must also include 3 years of experience with each of the following: data Governance strategies and executing roadmaps, leveraging systems, including Collibra, Manta, Informatica IDQ, and Informatica IPC; improving business performance by turning risk and compliance efforts into opportunities; performing data quality assessments and ETL procedures using data analysis tools; executing application development activities utilizing Java, Qlikview, Attivio and Apache; and experience with Agile- and Sprint-based development with C, C++, Clarizen, COBOL, Confluence, Control-M, DBeaver, Hbase, HTML, Java Script, Jira, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, Power Bi, Qlikview, relational and NoSQL database systems, and Tableau. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Salary Range: $160,805.00 - $225,000.00 annually
