Job Summary

The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is Kentucky’s Center on Disability.

HDI is seeking to fill a Disability Program Administrator I position. This position will serve as a Training Development Specialist and will work as state liaison with the Kentucky Division of Child Care through the Child Care Network Services project.

The responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Coordinate with the Division of Child Care to support professional development efforts and ensure regulatory compliance for license and certified child care providers.
  • Lead development and evaluation of training materials, including multimedia presentations and vendor-provided courses.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among state agencies and partners to align professional development goals.
  • Participate in cross-agency work groups to ensure consistency in training standards and delivery.
  • Apply knowledge of Kentucky child care regulations and strong organizational, presentation, and partnership-building skills.

Early childhood knowledge, training best practices, knowledge of state regulations for child care, Word, and PowerPoint.
