
DOJ Program Director

The Department of Justice (DOJ) Program Director will provide direct program/project management, customer engagement, and strategic leadership for DOJ contracts, with focus on DEA and ATF, and support the growth of a Microsoft-focused DOJ customer portfolio. Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Serve as the primary authority for all DOJ programs, ensuring alignment between technological solutions and the client’s mission objectives.
- Program / Project Management: Provide day-to-day management and delivery oversight to one or more large-scale IT and application modernization programs; ensure programs are adequately staffed and that staff are tasked appropriately to meet program needs; monitor and ensure high quality performance within project budget and schedule; produce management reports, track risks and issues, and brief senior-level client management on a regular basis.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for DOJ senior leadership, providing transparent reporting on program milestones, technical risks, and resource allocation.
- Solution Architecture: Drive the design of scalable, interoperable systems that comply with DOJ standards while coordinating with solution architects within the company.
The projected compensation range for this position is $150K - $200K annualized (USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.
Required Skills- 10-15 years of IT leadership experience
- Led multiple IT modernization / development projects (preferably with Microsoft technology components) for Department of Justice customers
- Management of IT modernization / development projects with at least 30 FTE
- Strong knowledge of DOJ standards and operating environments
- 5+ years of experience with DEA and/or ATF, either as a federal employee or contractor
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into executive-level briefs
- Experience as the primary interface to senior DOJ officials
- Ability to work in the Washington Metro Area
- Must be a US Citizen
Desirable Skills
- PMP or Program Management Professional (PgMP)
- Proven track record in managing Microsoft projects following Agile methodologies
- Active federal government public trust clearance, preferrably at DOJ
