The Dynamics Finance Consultant will work within an Agile team to develop a financial application for a federal government customer. Responsiblities include:
- Collaborate with other financial stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and ensure system is designed and built to meet customer needs.
- Provide expertise to design and develop an Accounts Receivable (AR) system using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Power Platform (workflow), and Power BI (reporting).
- Configure Microsoft Dynamics Finance to support AR processes and General Ledger (GL) integration.
- Work with development team to design and build workflows to integrate seamlessly into the Dynamics Finance AR system.
- Work with development team to design and build reports.
- Ensure reconciliation logic with internal systems, General Ledger system, and Treasury systems.
- QA for accuracy of migration of financial data from legacy system .
- Participate in Agile sprints, user story development, and solution demos.
- Train users on AR subledger processes within Dynamics Finance
- Help define and validate audit trail requirements and support for reconciliations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $140K - $170K annualized (USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.
Required Skills- 8+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O)
- Experience implementing Dynamics Finance for federal government customers
- Strong knowledge and experience implementing Dynamics Finance for Accounts Receivables processes
- Deep understanding of financial transaction flows, auditability, reconciliation processes.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both business users and technical developers.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, IT or related field.
- Must be a US Citizen.
