Are you a seasoned, thoughtful employee benefits and HR communications leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys juggling multiple projects at once? Join our Employee Experience Design team and make an impact through strategic storytelling, innovative solutions and collaboration.

The Role

You’ll be a key part of our cross-functional consulting team, partnering with Fidelity’s external clients—large plan sponsors who administer their employee benefit programs through Fidelity. Here’s what you’ll do to support our clients as they make changes to, boost awareness and understanding of and drive employee engagement in their benefit programs:

  • Lead business development opportunities—Identify client challenges and goals, articulate solutions, develop fee estimates and project scopes, close sales, and spearhead business growth initiatives
  • Craft communication and change management strategies—Conduct research and analyze data to establish behavior change goals and success metrics, facilitate audience analysis, identify traditional and innovative communication channels, draft key messages, and guide/support discussions about branding and graphic design
  • Lead all aspects of project implementations—Prepare project plans and/or direct team members, and lead creation and delivery of project deliverables, including drafting, peer reviews, client edits, graphic design and print/digital distribution; requires managing multiple projects, timelines and vendors with precision and flexibility
  • Manage client relationships—Collaborate across internal and external teams to ensure our clients’ objectives are met, we deliver accurate, high-impact work and establish long-term annuity relationships.
  • Develop team members—Model Fidelity leadership principles, support talent growth and capabilities and, in some instances, serve as people manager

Your skills and qualifications also include:

  • Employee compensation and benefits knowledge and subject matter expertise

  • Consultative selling

  • Employee experience and total rewards strategy and branding development

  • Employee value proposition creation and implementation

  • Workshop design and facilitation

  • Storytelling and creative briefs

  • Project management

  • Data analysis and insight development

  • People management

  • Bachelor’s degree (English, Marketing/Communications or related field preferred); Master’s degree (Business, Organizational Change, etc.) or other advanced certification a plus

  • 10+ years of experience

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$218,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
