Job Summary
Lead the University’s Enterprise Digital Marketing Strategy and Digital Experience
The University of Kentucky is seeking an Executive Director, Enterprise Digital Marketing Services to join the University’s enterprise marketing and communications leadership team.
This senior leadership position will guide the University’s digital marketing strategy, marketing technology ecosystem, website governance, CRM operations, analytics, and search initiatives. The Executive Director will lead enterprise digital marketing services, oversee key platforms including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Drupal, and partner across the institution to improve digital experiences, drive measurable results, and support strategic priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Set the University’s digital marketing strategy and establish governance, policies, and decision-making practices for digital marketing, websites, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, search, accessibility, and emerging technologies.
- Serve as the University’s senior adviser on digital strategy, online experiences, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in marketing.
- Lead and develop teams responsible for digital marketing, CRM, websites, SEO, and analytics while establishing service expectations and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, vendors, contracts, and resources supporting enterprise digital marketing services.
- Oversee enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Drupal, analytics tools, and related marketing technologies.
- Establish standards and best practices for website accessibility, usability, content quality, brand consistency, performance, and search visibility.
- Lead digital marketing efforts that support enrollment, healthcare, philanthropy, athletics, and broader institutional goals.
- Develop measurement frameworks, reporting tools, and performance standards that connect marketing activities and investments to outcomes.
- Collaborate with technology and analytics partners to support system integration, data quality, privacy, and long-term technology planning.
- Build strong partnerships across colleges, departments, and leadership teams to align priorities, guide investments, and support strategic initiatives.

Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Drupal, analytics and the responsible use of AI is also preferred.
