The Executive Business Partner provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship and serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external contacts on all matters pertaining to the CEO.

The Executive Business Partner provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship and serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external contacts on all matters pertaining to the CEO.

The Executive Business Partner should enjoy working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. You will have the ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive company cadence through scheduling and agendas for Business Reviews, Town Halls, Board Meetings, and other meetings requiring CEO participation.
  • Oversee budgetary planning and cost management working in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure the CEO's schedule is prioritized to strategic goals.
  • Act as a gatekeeper of the CEO’s time and schedule.
  • Work closely and effectively with the CEO to keep her informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and ensure preparedness for all.
  • Research, prioritize, and follow-up on incoming emails, correspondence, issues, and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, and allocate appropriately
  • Prioritize conflicting needs. Handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressure.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal departments, building and maintaining credibility and trust with leadership and staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate Board and Leadership meetings. Create agendas in collaboration with CEO and other senior leaders. Compile supporting documentation and ensure preparedness.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for CEO including: managing her calendar and email, completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Participate in key meetings, taking notes, compiling and distributing follow ups and next steps, communicating appropriate action items, and following up to ensure follow-thru where warranted.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years’ Executive Admin support; 5+ years working at CEO level
  • CPG industry experience required
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders, including staff, Board members, investors, external partners, etc.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, WORD) and Microsoft Outlook
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and on stringent timelines
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems, follow through on execution
  • Professional demeanor and ability to demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Ability to use a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Limited travel may be required

Compensation and Benefits:
