
External Affairs Assistant

Position Description:
- Complete daily gift processing including gift entry, distribute giving reports and file gift documentation
- Generate acknowledgements and distribute for review and signature
- Provide event support including receiving RSVP’s, distributing RSVP reports, creating nametags and assisting with the registration process
- Provide day-to-day support including scheduling meetings, distribution of mail, responding to general or event related inquiries, maintaining office supply inventory, submitting invoices and expenses
- Reserve tickets for prospects and donors as needed
- Under the guidance of the External Affairs Operations Manager, complete Raiser’s Edge data standardization and clean-up projects
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s preferred
- Demonstrated one (1) year of cash handling and customer service experience
- Experience with point of sale (i.e., Galaxy, Siriusware, ACME) or relationship management software (i.e., Raiser’s Edge, Tessitura, Salesforce)
- Accuracy and great attention to detail required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
- Self-driven, proactive, with an ability to work effectively and independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a multi-faceted environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Status:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends as required
Salary:
$45,000 - $50,000
