Job Summary
Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking two Facilities Worker II to work a floating schedule at our the Prestonsburg campus.
Job Duties:
- Performs daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, and offices such as; dusting, taking out trash, cleaning windows, vacuuming, and keeping the soap and paper towel dispensers full.
- Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of restrooms.
- Performs minor repairs and assists with major repairs.
- Performs dry walling, painting, installing ceiling tiles, minor plumbing, and assemble and deliver furniture, and setup rooms for special events.
- Maintains grounds by mowing, weed-eating, picking up trash, and snow removal.
- Performs floor maintenance such as; shampooing carpet, sweeping, moping, stripping floors, waxing, and buffing.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
1 to 2 years Experience Preferred.
