Day-to-Day Ingredients — Responsibilities
As a Field Training Specialist, you will:
- Execute market‑level training strategies aligned to company priorities
- Conduct restaurant audits and observations to assess training effectiveness
- Deliver targeted, hands‑on training and coaching for restaurant leaders
- Lead training execution for New Restaurant Openings (NROs)
- Monitor and ensure compliance with required training programs
- Identify high‑potential talent and recommend development opportunities
- Partner with Operations and cross‑functional leaders on training needs
- Support in‑training programs and readiness decisions

What You Bring to the Table — Required Experience
As a Field Training Specialist, you must have:
- Experience delivering training or coaching in a multi‑unit or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of restaurant or frontline operations
- Ability to assess performance and translate gaps into actionable training
- Proven communication and relationship‑building skills
- Comfort working independently in a fast‑paced, field‑based role
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within an assigned region
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company travel requirements
Extra Toppings — Desired Experience
As a Field Training Specialist, we prefer you to have:
- Experience supporting New Restaurant Openings or large‑scale initiatives
- Background in leadership development or talent identification
- Familiarity with compliance‑driven training (food safety, workplace safety, harassment prevention)
- Experience partnering with cross‑functional or regional leadership teams
- Ability to influence without authority and adapt to changing priorities
Where & How You’ll Work
This role is field‑based, supporting restaurants across an assigned market or region. You’ll travel frequently to partner with Operations, provide on‑site support, and maintain strong relationships with leaders and teams in the field. When not traveling, you’ll work from your home office, balancing independent work with virtual collaboration to support ongoing business needs. Success in this role requires full‑time availability, flexibility to adjust to evolving operational priorities, and the ability to travel regularly—including day trips, overnight travel, and extended market visits. While most travel will occur within your assigned market or region, some out‑of‑market support may be required based on business needs.
Candidates must reside within the region they support and be able to travel throughout that area as needed.
