Job Description:
The RoleThe Financial Analyst is part of a team responsible for the delivery of accurate, high quality financial information for Fidelity’s Fund boards. The Board Finance team works with and supports a variety of customers including Fidelity-wide business unit leaders, and independent trustees. A successful candidate will develop and use their knowledge of the Fidelity businesses and investment products to support the renewal of mutual fund fee contracts. The Expertise and Skills You Bring- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in finance, preferably in the financial services industry
- A self-motivated teammate who brings energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity
- Works effectively as part of a team, and successfully collaborates with business partners
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, working independently to perform tasks
- Strong written and oral communication skills – can articulate clearly with all levels of employees
- Proficiency in modeling, presentation, and data visualization tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Oracle BI, Power BI)
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, digestible, and actionable stories
- Ability to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work
