Job Summary
UK Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is looking for a qualified candidate to fill our Financial Analyst Coordinator position. This position will serve as the Pledge and Gift Administrator and will report to the Director of Gift Receiving.
Job responsibilities include:
- pledge administration
- Comprehensive Pledge Reporting and analysis
- stewardship accounting
- data integrity
The incumbent will serve as the subject matter expert on university-wide pledge records while following procedural compliance with the Council for Advancement and Support for Education (CASE) reporting standards, and adhering to policies and procedures of the University of Kentucky, IRS guidelines for charitable contributions, and UKPAE policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for the coordination of the Comprehensive Pledge Reporting (CPR) process to include developing, preparing, and reviewing university-wide and departmental reports to ensure pledge activity for the period is accurate and manage an established report distribution process.
In addition, this position maintains ongoing analysis of gifts deposited into college/unit holding accounts and conducts follow-up with Philanthropy Officers and Business Officers to ensure the timely creation of new gift funds/cost centers and gift transfers to maintain donor records.
The Pledge and Gift Administrator will be responsive to queries and requests from donors, college/unit business and philanthropy staff, or other university partners and document correspondence when necessary for maintaining UK PAE records.
The successful candidate must have exceptional customer service, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills.
