The newly created first line of defense Financial Crimes Risk & Controls center of excellence will provide a holistic, enterprise-wide approach to our financial crimes risk management (FCRM) activities and will reside within Global Servicing.

This team will be responsible for establishing a robust control foundation for first line of defense FCRM activities across the company globally, including anti-money laundering, sanctions, payments controls, and anti-corruption. The team will partner closely with Technology to develop and deploy next generation capabilities that address key gaps and strengthen the first line’s ability to detect and prevent financial crimes across our lines of business. The team will work in coordination with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) team within the Global Risk & Compliance organization.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Director Assistant role will support the Financial Crimes Risk and Controls Center of Excellence as a a key member of the Leadership Team and Executive Office, leading business planning and operational processes, colleague initiatives, and special projects for the office. This role partners closely with CEG, CA&C and Finance to manage day-to-day business priorities, strategic results, and broader needs of the team.

Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Financial Crimes Risk and Controls, the successful candidate will have exposure to various key stakeholders as well as interaction with colleagues at all levels of the organization within the Financial Crimes Risk and Controls COE, Global Servicing organization as well as across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely together with the SVP, Financial Crimes Risk & Controls on critical business and functional topics, including setting, refreshing, and ensuring execution of goals/priorities.
  • Balance the management of day-to-day business priorities along with long-term strategic deliverables.
  • Own global initiatives across the organization examples of which include, annual Planning, ongoing support of strategy materials, performance management/talent review processes, OPEX and budgeting, Colleague Engagement, etc.
  • Run the overall cadence of the SVPs executive office, and act as a liaison across the Enterprise.
  • Provide strategic support on a range of complex issues and lead ad hoc strategic projects as required.
  • Identifying key priorities, focus areas and operational trends as a key member of the Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate and develop robust presentations and talking points for key internal and external audiences.
  • Design and coordinate content and agendas for key meetings (i.e., leadership meetings, town halls, senior leader meetings, regulatory updates) including setting objectives and tracking and handling takeaways.
  • Work closely with CEG, Finance, CA&C, other executive offices, and additional key business partners to achieve objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Energetic, organized, curious, self-motivated, proactive and able to work in an unstructured environment.
  • Superior written and verbal, and visual communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular PowerPoint and Excel and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies / systems as necessary.
  • Superior project management skills and ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and collaborate.
  • High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality; able to handle highly sensitive information with unwavering discretion.
  • Outstanding qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development, and explanation of recommendations).
  • Ability to deliver results in a sophisticated, multi-cultural, matrixed environment, leading through influence, persuasion, and expertise with limited direct authority
  • Track record of remaining calm under pressure, with the resilience to adjust and adapt when faced with constantly evolving priorities
  • Strong analytical experience, with a careful attention to detail, balanced with an ability to see the broader picture and offer proactive solutions.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills - ability to build and maintain strong relationships globally.
  • Prior experience managing large budgets with an understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, as needed.

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
