POSITION SUMMARY

TheFitnessSpecialistis responsibleforprovidingprofessionalfitnessservicetomembers and clientsfortheLifeCenter,basedontheirtrainingtoappropriatelymeettheirhealthandfitness needs.

Thispositionsupportsorganizationalgoalsbyprovidingqualitycustomerservice,participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Qualifications

EDUCATION:BachelorsdegreeorequivalentexperienceinExerciseScienceorrelated science required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: BLS certification required within 90 days from date of hire or transfer.NationallyrecognizedPersonalTrainingcertificationrequiredwithin90daysofhireor transfer.ACSMHealthFitnessinstructor,NSCA,NASM,orACEPersonalTrainercertification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:Experienceworkingwithamedicalfitnessprogrampreferred.
