Full Stack Engineer

The Team
Fidelity’s Fixed Income Division manages over 1.2 trillion dollars and continues to see strong inflows into our funds. To support this growth and drive scale, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be part of a growing team that supports our Personal Bond Management function in the Fixed Income Bond space.
The successful candidate will bring a highly engaged inquisitive and consulting approach, outstanding application development skills and instincts along with a passion for delivering innovative products and services to help improve the experience of our business users through your contributions to the team’s delivery goals.
The Expertise You Have
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree
- Proven experience in a full stack software development environment
- Experience working in cloud-based architectures preferred (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Strong understanding of and experience within an Agile framework preferred
The Skills You Bring
- 6+ years of experience with Java, Python, RESTful services
- Hands-on experience in software engineering and comfortable with a broad set of technologies, including Angular, Database development (Oracle, PL/SQL, Snowflake) and ETL
- You possess full-stack software development knowledge and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutions
- You have a passion to learn new things, especially Asset Management and Fixed Income investing
- You are self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results orientation approach
- You are comfortable deploying Java based middle tier services to AWS
The Value You Deliver
- You will deliver time-to-market solutions, helping our investment teams use technology in an exploratory, highly iterative environment
- You will help our investment teams evolve their investment processes, to meet both short-term needs and long-term trends, through the use of technology
- You will collaborate with Architecture, Data Services and other Technology Teams to improve the performance and scalability of our applications and workflows
- You provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary
Dynamic Working
At Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call “Dynamic Working.” Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks. These requirements are subject to change.
