The FFIO Technology team is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team to deliver next generation Global Middle Office platforms in the cloud as part of a multiyear pivotal initiative to modernize and improve pricing capabilities. The position is based in Westlake, Texas and will do hands on development and provide technical leadership and mentorship for junior members of the team.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • B.S in Computer Science or related field. Or another combination of credentials and experience.
  • 7+ years of strong development experience in Angular, Java/J2EE and Spring Frameworks.
  • Proven experience of Angular, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, Messaging frameworks (ActiveMQ and Kafka) is a must.
  • Experience in Git and CI/CD pipeline is a must.
  • Strong Understanding of the SDLC and Test-Driven Development
  • Exemplary collaboration skills working with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Software Engineers.
  • Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
  • AWS experience in services like EC2, EKS, RDS, S3 is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Calypso is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Very good communication skills with ability to do internal demos and presentations.
  • Experience with or willingness to work in agile operating methodology.
