The Role
We are seeking aSoftware Engineerto join the Risk Workstation Product Area to develop high-quality applications servicing Risk and other business units. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team to modernize this critical application that allows the firm to manage many types of risksThe Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 5+ years of experience working with Java, Angular, Spring boot, Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS -EKS.
- Deep knowledge and experience with Data Analysis, Data Modeling and SQL/PLSQL, Packages, Procedures, Collections, Ref Cursor (Oracle)
- You have hands-on technical leadership experience leading and mentoring scrum teams focused on building software solutions for business critical, architecturally distributed experiences.
- You are experienced architecting and producing technical designs and solutions and working with squad members
- You are skilled in effectively conveying technical expertise to engage in impactful discussions with business and architecture partners.
- Experience with build, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Udeploy, Swagger, Datadog) from code check-in to production
- Experience with Spring IDE and Eclipse within UNIX and Windows environments
- Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS is preferred)
- Experience with Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business partners
- Financial domain knowledge with exposure to financial brokerage and Market & Collateral/Operations Risk is a plus
