Full Stack Engineer

The Role
The FFIO Technology team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their team to help build new capabilities to support alternative accounting products. The position is based in Westlake, Texas and will do hands on development building new capabilities to support our accounting teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• A strong foundation in software engineering – 5+ years’ experience
• Comfortable with core Java 21+ technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot
• Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/Helm
• Experience with SQL and stored procedures. Oracle database preferred
• Experience with SS&C RSL and GSQL query languages
• Solid foundation in alternative accounting
• Experience with the following technologies: Spring 3.x, JPA, REST/Web Services, Maven, XML, Apache Tomcat, Swagger, Kafka, Reactor/JavaRX
• Understanding of Angular framework and Typescript is nice-to-have.
• Experience building and deploying cloud enabled applications using 12 factor design.
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
• Work well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time
