Investment Compliance Technology team is seeking a Java/Scala engineer to work on the development of Compliance Monitoring product. This is a highly concurrent system performing complex real time calculations – all within a sub-second SLA!

The Role
Investment Compliance Technology team is seeking a Java/Scala engineer to work on the development of Compliance Monitoring product. This is a highly concurrent system performing complex real time calculations – all within a sub-second SLA!
We are looking for a senior engineer with strong hands on experience and the zeal to learn new technologies.
The Expertise You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Proven experience developing in Java and Spring Boot.
- Proficient in Scala with hands on experience
- Knowledge of the Akka/Pekko framework.
- Familiar with usage of dev assist tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Extensive working experience in Rest based Microservices built using frameworks like Spring, ORM etc.
- Working knowledge of Event driven systems using Kafka Messaging platform.
- Working experience in Cloud based infrastructure and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Understanding of the Asset Management (specifically Compliance) domain is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile team.
