Sitting at a desk/computer; push or carry items up to 25 lbs; campus errands; regular use of a computer and media technology.



Shift

10 – 20 hours per week – flexible hours based on student’s class schedule.
Day shift with occasional evening requirements.





Job Summary

The Undergraduate Research Assistant will support ongoing research projects under the guidance of their faculty supervisor. The main focus will be the Kentucky Cost of Care Project which explores the challenges of child care for providers and families.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in conducting literature reviews

2. Assist in recruitment of participants for focus groups

3. Prepare transcripts of focus groups for coding and analysis

4. Contribute to preparation of presentations, white papers, and publications

5. Go through CITI & RCR Training

6. Other research duties as assigned

Student must be eligible for work-study and in good academic standing.

Research experience. Education, psychology, or social sciences majors preferred.
