Job Summary

• Assist in recording and reconciling grant income and expenditures in the accounting system.
• Support the preparation of financial reports for funders and internal stakeholders.
• Support the creation of 2026 Budgets.
• Help monitor budget-to-actuals for specific grants and programs.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review and organize receipts, invoices, and financial documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and grant agreements.
• Participate in special projects and audits as needed.
• Help review and revise accounting policies and procedures.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Basic understanding of accounting principles, proficient in Microsoft excel, strong attention to detail.

Preferred Education/Experience

• Coursework or experience related to nonprofit or governmental accounting.
• Familiarity with grant compliance requirements (e.g., OMB Uniform Guidance).
• Accounting, Finance, Business, or any related majors preferred.
