Physical Requirements

Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time. Repeated use of hands by computer use.

Shift

Weekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Occasional evenings.
Hybrid – any combination of in-person and remote work.

Job Summary
  • Draft written content for the Tracy Farmer Institute for Sustainability and the Environment website.
  • Contribute to TFISE website design and development.
  • Draft posts for TFISE social media.
  • Monitor engagement with social media and respond to basic inquiries.
  • Create promotional materials for TFISE programming and events.
  • Assist in-person with programming and events.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings.
  • Verbal and written evaluations will be performed every 2 months.

Specific Request #1: Required: Please attached 2-3 examples of work with graphic design and writing (preferably, short-form professional writing).

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Adobe CreativeCloud, Asana, LinkedIn, MS Office, MS Teams. Short-form writing without AI. Oral communication. Collaborative writing.

Preferred Education/Experience

Website design and management. WRD, Design, Fine Arts, Communication, and Information Science majors preferred.
