Become a Governance and Access Management Review Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will provide technical expertise and integrate projects for the T&D Governance and Provisioning organization. The Advisor is expected to facilitate special assignments and projects whose outcomes are time sensitive, resource intense, high value client focused, and technical. The Advisor will partner with team members across SCE (typically at the senior management and executive levels) to facilitate organizational unit governance projects, solutions, and process automations. Act as their key contact to manage change and resolve both complex functional and broad business issues related to T&D governance, staffing, and provisioning capabilities. Work with various departments, processes, systems, and information to develop recommendations and support the implementation of improvements and maintain data integrity. You will also provide business and technical expertise to support maintenance of T&D’s people, process, compliance, and access management repository.

Responsibilities
- Collaborates with internal teams to implement privacy initiatives and risk mitigating measures
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures
- Collaborates with stakeholders to provide appropriate repository and plan for mission critical business content and disaster recovery scenarios
- Identifies opportunities to enhance the Information Governance program by utilizing a thorough understanding of information management, security, and privacy principles
- Drives information governance action items with stakeholders through to completion
- Identifies and resolves gaps in adherence to polices and standards and identifies appropriate issues for escalation
- Performs analysis and process documentation for projects related to information governance, process, compliance, access management, and contractor oversight
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address information governance opportunities and resolve issues
- Supports in the delivery of business change programs around records and information management, encouraging best practice across SCE
- Supports operational implementation of various processes and systems ensuring alignment with the Information Governance policies
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience with information governance and data management practices and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Query and Database Design.
- Experience performing an audience impact analysis integrating multiple projects.
- Experience leading change management activities within complex improvement projects.
- Experience with provisioning for technology projects.
- Experience with process automation and/or robotics.
- Demonstrated experience with process design and complex analytics.
- Experience with Transmission & Distribution business functions.
- Demonstrated experience with Erwin/Casewise/Evolve database management or other relational database design and maintenance.
- Advanced experience with software tools ie: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Project and Visio.
- Experience completing multiple projects/assignments concurrently while adjusting to changing priorities.
- Experience interfacing and collaborating with clients, vendors, peers, management, and other departments.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- The primary work location for this position is Pomona, CA. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at (alternate work location).
- Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.

Salary range
- $140,400 - $210,500
