Responsibilities

Hours: 3rd Shift Sunday through early Friday morning - 10:30PM-6:30AM

Starting Pay Rate: $25.02 per hour

Openings: 1

Now hiring at our Murrysville manufacturing plant for a Hat Decal & Assembly associate. In this role you will be counted on for the following activities:

  • Apply decals to hard hats.
  • Assemble, pack, and prepare hard hats for shipment.
  • Assemble V-Gard Visor Frame.
  • Pull material necessary for the job and heat treat hard hats.
  • Interpret all job related documentation.
  • Recognize acceptable logos, process deficiencies, and make compensating adjustments.
  • Responsible for quality, productivity, material handling, delivery, and completion of all necessary paperwork.


Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

  • Ability to:
    • read and understand drawings and work instructions
    • understand standard units of measure
    • set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices
    • sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
    • use hand tools.
    • effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
    • work independently with minimal supervision.
    • operate a pallet jack.
    • operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
    • wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and/or other PPE as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 months previous manufacturing or related experience.
