The Role

The HR Associate supports HR Operations processes and initiatives in support of Enterprise HR services. In this role, you will need to understand employee data, pay standards, and be able to execute deliverables in an operations environment. You will work with peers, payroll, and HR partners to quickly support and/or resolve situations. We will look for this role to provide recommendations for process improvements and seek opportunities to provide value added solutions to meet business needs and ensure end to end data integrity.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • I9 processing experience preferred
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to keep others informed on a timely basis of changes, key events, and decisions that may affect them
  • Proven customer service and consultation skills
  • Demonstrates strong organization, accuracy skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate fluctuations in work volume
  • Experience with HRIS, Case or Knowledge Management systems is a plus
  • Basic Excel skills required

The Purpose of Your Role

  • Weekly support of I9 processing
  • Maintenance of employee files through imaging
  • Handle general document retrieval requests
  • Provide information to Legal for Subpoenas and other compliance related requests
  • Process and mail weekly Termination letters
  • Respond to unemployment claim inquires
  • Scrub and image manager file documents

  • You will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and work streams to meet deadlines.
  • You will understand employee data and pay impacting timelines.
  • You will build relationships with business partners in and outside of HR.

  • Providing recommendations for process improvements and identifying opportunities to provide value added solutions to meet business problems and ensure end to end data integrity
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
