Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Prior lead, coordinator, or managerial experience preferred.
- Experience administering HR systems, employee engagement platforms, and workforce reporting tools preferred.
- Healthcare, government contracting, or multi-site workforce experience preferred.
Human Resources Operations
- Supervise daily HR employee support services and HR administrative activities.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions benefits, leave programs, and HR processes.
- Ensure HR processes and practices are applied consistently throughout the organization.
- Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance HR operations.
- Provide guidance and support to HR team members as assigned.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation activities.
- Oversee offboarding activities, including separation documentation, exit interviews, and system access removal.
- Ensure employee records and personnel files are maintained in accordance with federal, state, and organizational requirements.
- Monitor employee data accuracy and confidentiality.
HR Technology and Employee Platforms
- Assist with administering and maintaining HR-related platforms, including but not limited to:
- Scrubin
- Nectar
- SharePoint
- Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Applicant Tracking Systems
- Monitor data integrity across HR systems.
- Provide user support and training related to HR technology platforms.
- Recommend system enhancements to improve HR processes and employee experience.
Employee Analytics and Reporting
- Compile, maintain, and distribute workforce and HR metrics reports.
- Assist in analyzing HR data related to recruitment, retention, turnover, absenteeism, engagement, benefits, and workforce demographics.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports.
- Identify trends and assist with recommendations to improve workforce outcomes.
Benefits Administration
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits programs.
- Coordinate communications between employees, benefit vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollments, life event changes, and annual open enrollment activities.
- Help resolve employee benefit issues and escalations.
Policies, Procedures, and Documentation
- Draft, revise, and maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, templates, and employee resources.
- Ensure HR documentation remains current and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Assist with employee handbook updates and policy implementation efforts.
Employee Relations
- Provide support and guidance on employee relations matters.
- Assist in conducting workplace investigations and documenting findings.
- Support corrective action and performance management processes.
- Escalate complex employee relations issues to HR leadership as appropriate.
Employee Communications
- Develop and distribute employee communications related to HR programs, benefits, policy updates, organizational changes, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Maintain HR content on SharePoint and other communication platforms.
Training and Development
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs and compliance education.
- Assist in identifying training needs and development opportunities.
- Track participation and maintain required training records.
- Support leadership development and employee learning initiatives.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Maintain compliance records and required employment documentation.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Monitor changes in employment regulations and communicate impacts to leadership.
- Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and compliance-related activities.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and record retention requirements.
Research and Special Projects
- Conduct research on HR trends, employment laws, benefits, compensation, and best practices.
- Prepare summaries and recommendations.
- Participate in HR projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and HR best practices.
- Experience utilizing HR systems and workforce reporting tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience with HRIS, employee engagement, and recognition platforms.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and support team members.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and in writing.
- Occasional travel may be required.
