The Role
As an Implementation Communications Consultant, you will lead Fidelity clients to develop the implementation strategy and then operationalize that strategy to build and deliver high-quality, efficient communications to participants in the Core and Large Market segments. You will deliver critical information to plan participants during periods of change. Your focus will be on sophisticated, new client implementations, new plan setups, corporate actions, and other large event projects.
Coordinate with the client on the communication & education strategy for the project, uncovering key client priorities and needs, while positioning the current communications model appropriately
Build a communications project plan or timeline, coordinate project plan achievements and dates and provide status updates.
Acquire client, plan and project information from the client, internal partners and prior record-keeper to inform communications. Draft print and email communications, microsites, and other informative components ensuring high PADU adherence and cost efficiencies
Review communications with Fidelity legal/compliance, internal service team and the client. Coordinate production, setup and delivery of communications. Hold communication partners accountable for delivery dates and document completion dates.
Complete project on time with high client happiness
Represent C&E in cross-functional projects and initiatives
Act as a knowledgeable resource for internal business partners on C&E implementation services
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Experience in employee benefits communication and/or financial services preferred
Minimum of 1 year communications consulting experience preferred
Confirmed project management experience required
NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses (candidate must already possess these licenses at the time of hire).
Confirmed understanding of communication processes from writing and design through distribution across multiple media (print, email, microsites)
Ability to write and/or edit readable, user-friendly copy to improve message
Ability to make decisions independently
Knowledge of the communications and financial industry standards
Knowledge of Fidelity's communications offerings and capabilities for a multitude of product offerings
Consultative selling skills and experience
Client servicing skills and experience
The Team
You will work with multiple client projects simultaneously, depending on the level of complexity. Your efforts will help Fidelity profitability by offering efficient, digital solutions that engage participants. You will partner internally with key business partners like implementation, marketing, product, legal and production to meet client expectations. You will partner externally with key collaborators like plan sponsors, consultants, participants and Fidelity’s vendors.
