Information Security AnalystUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Information Security Analyst is responsible for day-to-day information security operations and compliance activities as a member of the Office of Digital Infrastructure, Operations & Security. The Information Security Analyst reports to the CISO and Director of Infrastructure.Essential FunctionsJob DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Strong knowledge of basic information security principles.• Proficient understanding of cyber incident response.• Proficient knowledge of IAM technologies as they relate to security (MFA, SSO, etc).• Good understanding of vulnerability management and assessment.• Good understanding of cyber risk management.• Ability to effectively explain cybersecurity issues in plain language to customers and leadership.• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.• Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.Required EducationBachelors Degree in Information Technology discipline.
