Shift

The expectation is primarily day shift Monday through Friday, however as an exempt-level position, additional hours will be required as needed to perform job duties. This position will also include on-call coverage that may include weekends and holidays.



Job Summary

Using best practices and adult learning principles, the IT Technology trainer will facilitate the teaching of information technology to all healthcare professionals including faculty, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals across the enterprise. The position will be responsible for teaching the material providing support to users; participating in the implementation of new systems; collaborating and communicating with stakeholders ensuring that changes are disseminated and providing exceptional customer service to faculty, staff and co-workers.



Will work remote but the position requires occasional travel within Kentucky to UK Healthcare remote site clinical areas to provide training.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills; and be proficient in MS Office Suites, Captivate or similar e-learning software.

Bachelor’s degree with experience in Information Technology training preferred.
