ABOUT THE POSITION

The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the management, availability and support of all IT infrastructure technologies, including corporate office network, branch network, production datacenters, and Microsoft 365 services. The Infrastructure Manager will lead, coach and mentor a team of highly skilled technical professionals responsible for 24x7 operation of the infrastructure. The position requires extensive knowledge and experience across enterprise infrastructure domains including servers, virtualization, systems management and monitoring, storage, disaster recovery (DR), datacenter operations, cloud and productivity services (including M365), and networking with a strong focus on stability, security and continuous improvement.


NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK

1. Lead and oversee system administrators, other technical teams, and service providers to ensure timely resolutions of issues.

2. Partner with business and application owners to facilitate infrastructure to support their unique infrastructure needs related to core processing and overlaying applications.

3. Plan, provision and manage the network, server, virtualization and storage resources to host credit union and financial services environments.

4. Continuously evaluate and enhance the server and storage environment to increase efficiency, reliability, and performance.

5. Design and enforce secure computing requirements and infrastructure architectures in compliance with enterprise security standards.

6. Oversee planning and scheduling of change management activities including system downtime for maintenance windows, coordinating with stakeholders and change management to minimize impact to services.

7. Build new practices that differentiate, complement, and augment our existing infrastructure in the enterprise application and financial core areas.

8. Develop and evolve technical standards, practices, capabilities and procedures related to systems, infrastructure, and network design and administration.

9. Lead operational oversight of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable collaboration and productivity capabilities across the enterprise.

10. Provide leadership and oversight for Business-as-Usual activities, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, and ongoing maintenance to ensure the security, stability and reliability of enterprise infrastructure.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Here are a few skills you MUST have to be qualified for this position.

1. Minimum 7-9 years Information Technology experience, with lead or management role managing, designing, and deploying medium to large scale infrastructure solutions.

2. Strong experience in managing infrastructure solutions across storage, disaster recovery, BCP, virtualization, networking, systems administration.

3. Experience managing VMWare, Windows, Linux, datacenter and production environments.

4. Demonstrated knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

5. Strong PC proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

6. Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.

7. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer printer).

8. Travel required on occasion.


Here are a few qualities we’d LIKE you to have to make you more suited for this position.

1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or related degree.

2. Previous experience working within a credit union, bank, or FinTech.

3. Significant experience with VMWare VDI Horizon Solution.

4. VMWare, Cisco, or AWS certification(s).

5. Experience architecting and managing infrastructure or solutions in a cloud environment.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to formulate questions, provide input and explain complex technical concepts.
