Intensive In-Home Clinical Supervisor
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
Lead Clinicians. Strengthen Families. Make an Impact Where It Matters Most.
At The Village, we believe strong families build strong communities. As one of the first agencies in the country to provide homes for neglected children, we have a long history of caring for children and families. Today, that mission continues through behavioral health, early childhood and youth development, substance use treatment, and family support services throughout Greater Hartford.
Recognized as a Connecticut Top Workplace for seven consecutive years, The Village is committed not only to the children and families we serve, but also to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where our employees can grow, lead, and do meaningful work.
Make an Impact as a Clinical Leader
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate clinician/clinical supervisor who is excited about developing other clinicians while helping children and families thrive in their homes and communities.
As our Intensive In-Home Clinical Supervisor, you'll provide clinical leadership, consultation, coaching, and support to a team serving children and families with complex behavioral health needs. You'll help clinicians strengthen their skills, navigate challenging cases, and provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
This is an opportunity to bring together your experience as a clinician, supervisor, mentor, and collaborator while remaining connected to direct clinical practice.
What You'll Do
Lead, Coach & Develop Clinicians
- Provide supportive clinical and administrative supervision to clinicians, staff, and interns.
- Create a supervision environment that promotes reflection, professional growth, clinical excellence, and staff well-being.
- Coach team members through complex clinical situations, risk assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
- Support onboarding, professional development, and performance growth.
- Facilitate and participate in individual and group supervision, clinical rounds, and team meetings.
- Promote high-quality, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and family-centered clinical practice.
Strengthen Programs & Partnerships
- Partner with program and agency leadership to strengthen clinical practices, workflows, and service delivery.
- Collaborate with DCF, schools, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Support quality assurance activities and clinical documentation standards.
- Participate in agency initiatives, committees, and special projects.
- Represent The Village in community and professional partnerships.
- Support the use and implementation of evidence-based treatment approaches.
Stay Connected to Clinical Practice
As a clinical leader, you may be asked to maintain a small clinical caseload and provide services to children and families, including:
- Comprehensive clinical assessment and treatment planning
- Individual and family therapy and parent-focused interventions
- Risk assessment and crisis intervention
- Case management and care coordination
- Discharge planning and connection to community resources
- Timely, high-quality clinical documentation
Because we serve families where they live, learn, and grow, services may be provided in homes, schools, community settings, and our offices.

- Active Connecticut clinical license such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent
- At least three years of experience working with children and families
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practice
- Ability to provide services across office, school, home, and community settings, with or without reasonable accommodation
We'd Especially Love to Meet Candidates Who
- Have experience supervising, mentoring, or developing clinicians
- Enjoy balancing clinical leadership with direct practice
