
Inventory Management Support Clerk

The Inventory Management Support clerk supports daily Stockroom operations within an electronics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and issuing of electronic components, assemblies, and finished goods while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures including safety, quality, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, components, and equipment; verify quantities and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Process material receipts in the ERP/MRP system and label items per internal standards.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the stockroom and inventory storage areas.
- Store and organize electronic components safely, including ESD-sensitive items, in designated locations.
- Pick and issue components to production orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Pack and prepare finished goods shipments following customer, carrier, and company requirements.
- Perform cycle counts and support full physical inventory activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report variances to the Supervisor.
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) while following safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment consistent with lean and 5S principles.
- Follow all company procedures related to quality, safety, ESD, FOD prevention and material handling standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including preparing shipments, verifying packing slips, and unloading deliveries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 4 years prior relevant inventory management and stockroom, experience, preferably in electronics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Experience working with inventory or ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and ESD handling preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Shipping/Receiving experience and knowledge of shipping carriers and logistics processes (UPS, FedEx, LTL).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices.

Salary range
- $24 - $28 per hour
