Adena is seeking experienced Ironworkers to join our team. This position is responsible for the erection and installation of structural and miscellaneous steel while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. Primary Job Responsibilities:

  1. Erect structural steel, including columns, beams, bar joists, and decking
  2. Bolt and secure structural steel connections
  3. Install stairs, handrails, guardrails, ladders, grating, and miscellaneous steel
  4. Perform layout and installation of roof and floor framing
  5. Signal and work safely with crane and equipment operators
  6. Cut and weld steel as needed
  7. Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements


Position Requirements: Position Requirements
  1. Rigging experience required
  2. 2+years experience erecting structural steel, including columns, beams, bar joists, and decking
  3. Bolt and secure structural steel connections
  4. Install stairs, handrails, guardrails, ladders, grating, and miscellaneous steel
  5. Perform layout and installation of roof and floor framing
  6. Signal and work safely with crane and equipment operators
  7. Cut and weld steel as needed
  8. Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements
  9. Structural steel erection and connecting experience (2 years minimum required)
  10. Experience working at heights and around cranes
  11. Ability to read basic structural plans and connection details
  12. Welding experience is a plus
  13. Mechanical ability to perform millwright type functions
