Overview

The IT Analyst I provides on-site technical support and contributes to business systems analysis in a regulated GMP/CDMO environment. This role supports end-user systems, hardware, software, and local IT operations while assisting with documentation, process improvement, and system support activities. This role is ideal for a service-oriented IT professional who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working directly with users, and supporting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.



Responsibilities

  • Assist with desktop support as needed.
  • Monitor systems performance and capacity and adjust to prevent performance deterioration.
  • Resolve complex system software questions or problems, including those problems arising from their systems interaction with other systems on the Company network
  • Harmonize instrumentation, software, and systems across Cambrex for efficiency, savings, better knowledge, faster results, and more satisfied customers 
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation
  • Coordinate service providers to schedule work.  
  • Coordination of corporate/local system needs and expansions.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.


Qualifications / Skills



  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability in analyzing, communicating, testing, and verifying IT system-level requirements
  • Should demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities, driving towards completion.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities, consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 operating system
  • Familiar with Microsoft M365 Applications – Outlook/Excel/Word/Teams
  • Experience in TCP/IP networking configuration
  • History of work with an IT management System (ie – ServiceNow/TopDesk)
  • Workstation Imaging
  • Remote Access Software – (Teamviewer)
  • Domain Services experience a plus – Active Directory/DNS/DHCP
  • Windows Server OS experience preferred


Qualifications



Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree also considered. Experience providing IT support in a regulated GMP/GxP, pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or CDMO environment is strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant experience may be accepted.
