The Role

As a senior IT Project Manager, you will lead multiple Agile teams to deliver complex technology initiatives. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence in a dynamic environment. You’ll collaborate with Product Leaders, Tech Leads, and Chapter Leaders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of business value.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5–7 years in IT project management or Agile delivery leadership.
  • Certifications: Scrum required; PMP or other Agile certifications preferred
  • Skills: Excellent facilitation and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and scaling practices
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Leadership
  • Guide stakeholders and teams in a complex, ambiguous environment.
  • Apply Agile fundamentals to solve problems creatively.
  • Lead two teams concurrently, ensuring clarity and removing impediments.
  • Drive continuous improvement and propose actionable solutions.

Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery from planning through release and support.
  • Align priorities with Product and Chapter Leaders; create realistic plans.
  • Maintain a healthy backlog and manage scope changes for maximum value.
  • Promote engineering practices for frequent delivery of working software.
  • May serve as Scrum of Scrums Master or Initiative Delivery Lead.

Managing the Work

  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Use data to identify trends and inform decisions.
  • Track progress toward goals and escalate when needed.

Culture

  • Foster inclusion, psychological safety, and teamwork.
  • Encourage continuous learning and open feedback.

Release Management

  • Coordinate releases across teams and improve release processes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Champion improvements using a test-and-learn mindset.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
